The 2024-25 college basketball season is almost here, and CBS Sports will be a part of the action with a broadcast schedule featuring nearly 300 regular-season games across CBS platforms, including nearly 30 women’s games.
The Big Ten Women’s Basketball Championship will air on CBS while CBS Sports Network will showcase 28 women’s games, including several conference tournament championships.
In all, 15 automatic NCAA Tournament bids will be decided on CBS platforms, highlighted for the second straight season on the women’s side by the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Championship.
During the 2024 Big Ten Tournament, Nebraska took Iowa into overtime before the Hawkeyes pulled off a 94-89 victory and earned their third consecutive league tournament title. Despite all-time Division I leading scorer Caitlin Clark moving on to the WNBA, the Big Ten just got stronger with the addition of some former Pac-12 teams — including JuJu Watkins’ USC Trojans.
The 2025 Big Ten Conference Women’s Championship game is set to take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Sunday, March 9 at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Other highlights of the 2024-25 TV schedule include CBS Sports Network showing women’s conference tournament action from the Atlantic 10, Summit League, Mountain West, Mid-American, Conference USA, Patriot League and Coastal Athletic Association. The tournament championship games from the Summit League, Mountain West, MAC, Conference USA, Patriot League and CAA will all air on CBS Sports Network.
There will also be some fun games during the regular season that feature 11-time national champion UConn, Mountain West powerhouse UNLV, and a Duke team fresh off its 18th Sweet 16 appearance.
