College football live scores, games, updates: Clemson at Pitt and more

Date:

We’ve hit the home stretch of the 2024 college football regular season.

There are just three weeks to go before conference championship week in the first week of December. Week 12 isn’t the most loaded slate, but it does feature two games between ranked opponents and games all over the country that have implications in conference title races.

Here’s what we’re watching closest in Week 13. (Scroll down to follow the action live.)

Time: 4:15 p.m. ET | TV: SEC Network | Line: South Carolina -12.5 | Total: 44.5

Missouri QB Brady Cook is listed as doubtful for Saturday’s game and Drew Pyne is his replacement if he can’t go. South Carolina has won three straight games after its two-point loss to Alabama. Gamecocks QB LaNorris Sellers has accounted for five TDs and nearly 500 passing yards over the last two games and hasn’t thrown an interception.

Time: 7:30 p.m. ET | TV: NBC | Line: Oregon -14 | Total: 52.5

Is this the toughest game remaining on the Ducks’ regular-season schedule? We won’t get into tiebreakers here, but if Oregon wins Saturday night it will likely play the winner of next week’s game between Indiana and Ohio State in the Big Ten title game. Wisconsin enters the game on a two-game losing streak.

Time: 7:30 p.m. ET | TV: ABC | Line: Georgia -10.5 | Total: 48.5

Vols QB Nico Iamaleava is reportedly set to play after going through the concussion protocol earlier in the week. Georgia is out of the College Football Playoff mix with a loss; the Vols’ visit on Saturday night gave the committee an easy out with its placement of the Bulldogs on Tuesday.

Time: 10:15 p.m. ET | TV: ESPN | Line: BYU -3 | Total: 56.5

Your eyes aren’t fooling you. The undefeated top-10 BYU Cougars are favored by just a field goal at home against a team that has a losing record. Overall, four of BYU’s nine wins have come by a single possession and Kansas just took down Iowa State in Week 11.

Live58 updates

  • Touchdown Clemson!

Just when we thought Clemson was in serious trouble, Cade Klubnik scrambles 50 yards for a touchdown to give the Tigers the lead late in the game.

    Clemson 24, Pitt 20

  • Pitt makes long FG

The Panthers were pushed back into a 47-yard attempt after taking a head-scratching sack on third down but Ben Sauls manages to nail the long field goal to give them the lead.

There’s under 2 minutes left in the game.

    Pittsburgh 20, Clemson 17

  • So this wasn’t a touchdown as the NBC graphic suggests since you can’t advance a muffed kickoff, but it’s a great start for the Fighting Irish nonetheless as they’ll have it in the red zone just 4 seconds into the game.

  • Final: Colorado 49, Utah 24

  • Clemson turns it over on downs!

The Tigers were driving to break the tie but Phil Mafah fumbled the ball out of bounds on fourth-and-short and the Panthers have the ball back.

There’s just over 4 minutes left in this one.

  • Touchdown Colorado

Travis Hunter got burned on a touchdown earlier, but he’s found the end zone late in the Buffs’ blowout of Utah on a reverse with the game in hand.

  • Touchdown Pitt!

The Panthers tie things up with just over 7 minutes left in the game on a pass from Nate Yarnell to Gavin Bartholomew.

  • Touchdown Colorado

That’ll just about do it for things in Boulder. The Buffs score a short touchdown on a run by Charlie Offerdahl and they’re just a couple wins from the Big 12 title game.

    Colorado 42, Utah 24

  • Interception Colorado

Utah’s Isaac Wilson makes another huge mistake, throwing his third interception of the day, this time to DJ McKinney.

  • Final: Texas 20, Arkansas 10

The Longhorns overcome a challenge on the road to stay in the SEC title hunt.

  • Fumble recovered by Utah

The Utes have the ball back at midfield after Colorado’s Will Sheppard fumbled the ball after a catch.

There’s 7 minutes left in the game in Boulder.

  • Touchdown Utah

The Utes have cut into Colorado’s lead. Caleb Lohner boxes out the defender in the end zone for an easy throw and catch from Isaac Wilson. They go for 2 and get it.

    Colorado 35, Utah 24

  • Touchdown Colorado

The Buffaloes find the end zone again with a catch and run by Drelon Miller. What a play by the freshman to break a couple tackles and score the touchdown.

  • Fumble recovered by Texas!

That may be the death knell for the Razorbacks. The Longhorns just poked it out of CJ Brown’s hands and Texas’ Michael Taaffe fell on it.

There’s just over 6 minutes left in the game.

  • Touchdown Texas!

Just when it appeared the momentum had shifted to the Razorbacks, the Longhorns respond with an 8-play, 78-yard drive capped off by a TD throw from Quinn Ewers to Matthew Golden.

    Texas 20, Arkansas 10

  • Arkansas adds FG

The Hogs aren’t able to get into the end zone, but they’ve cut the Longhorns’ lead down to 3 points early in the fourth quarter.

    Texas 13, Arkansas 10

  • Alabama freshman showing out

Ryan Williams had eight touchdowns on the season coming into Alabama’s game against Mercer today. He has two more in the first quarter (one rushing and one receiving).

  • Touchdown Utah!

The Utes may have life yet in this one. Colorado’s Travis Hunter just got burned as Isaac Wilson went over the top to Dorian Singer for a 40-yard touchdown.

  • End of 3Q: Texas 13, Arkansas 7

The Hogs are driving to potentially take the lead in Fayetteville. They have the ball at the Texas 37 and are facing a second-and-7.
