Cowboys put Zack Martin on IR, activate Amani Oruwariye

Date:

The Cowboys announced several transactions ahead of Monday night’s game against the Bengals, including the expected move of right guard Zack Martin to injured reserve.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy announced last week that Martin would have season-ending ankle surgery. Martin said he will make decisions about his plans for playing in 2025 and beyond once he’s recovered.

The Cowboys also placed cornerback Josh Butler on injured reserve. Butler tore his ACL on Thanksgiving.

Three cornerbacks have been added to the roster. Amani Oruwariye was activated from injured reserve, Kemon Hall was signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and Andrew Booth was elevated from the practice squad on a temporary basis.
