Crawley sign ex-Arsenal striker John-Jules

Date:

Crawley Town have signed former Arsenal striker Tyreece John-Jules on a one-year deal.

The 23-year-old spent the first half of last season on loan at Derby County before suffering a severe hamstring injury and returning to the Gunners for rehabilitation.

He played 12 times for the Rams, scoring one goal, having been with Ipswich Town in 2022-23, netting three times in 17 games to help them win promotion from League One.

John-Jules was released by Arsenal this summer, bringing an end to a 15-year spell at the club, without making a first team appearance.

Other loan spells between 2019 and 2022 included Lincoln City, Doncaster Rovers, Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday.
