Dakota Joshua Hits The Ice With The Canucks For First Time Since Offseason Surgery

The Vancouver Canucks received some positive news on Saturday as Dakota Joshua joined the group on the ice for morning skate. This is the first time Joshua has skated with the main group, indicating that he may be ready to get back in the lineup soon. During the offseason, Joshua was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer and is still recovering from surgery that removed a cancerous tumour.

Last season, Joshua set multiple career highs, including goals (18) and points (32). He also led the Canucks in hits with 245 and, alongside Conor Garland and Teddy Blueger, was part of one of the best third lines in hockey. Joshua’s strong season didn’t stop in the regular season, as he added eight points and 74 hits in 13 playoff games.
