Delta leans into premium travel to attract millennials

Date:

Delta Air Lines (DAL) shared new plans for premium passenger investments, including expectations that premium revenue will surpass main cabin revenue by 2027.

The airline will introduce new aircraft, like the A350-1000 that has 50% premium seating, and expand its cabin segmentation. The strategy aims to attract millennial travelers, who are currently spending more on luxury travel than other generations.

Morning Brief Co-hosts Brad Smith and Seana Smith share that despite these investments, Delta’s stock is lower pre-market as investors weigh the potential returns.
