NEW DELHI: Shikhar Dhawan and Chris Gayle, two of cricket’s most explosive opening batsmen, delighted fans by showcasing their cheeky dance moves.
Enjoying their retirement from professional cricket, the duo was seen grooving together in a lighthearted video that quickly gained traction on social media.
“Desi munda te Jamaican style da combo! 😎 @chrisgayle333,” Dhawan wrote the caption.

Their playful dance not only entertained fans but also highlighted the strong camaraderie between the two legends, making it a memorable moment for cricket fans around the world.
Dhawan and Gayle are presently participating in the Legends League Cricket tournament. This event showcases retired cricket icons around the world.
In the ongoing tournament, both Dhawan and Gayle are playing for the Gujarat Giants franchise, one of the teams competing in the league. The Legends League Cricket provides an opportunity for fans to witness their favorite former players in action once again.
The 38-year-old Dhawan announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket in late August, having represented India in 34 Tests, 167 ODIs, and 68 T20Is between 2013 and 2022.
Dhawan became India’s 25th ODI skipper in an ODI against Sri Lanka in June 2021 when he stood in for Rohit Sharma and went on to lead the country in 12 matches, winning seven and losing three.
However, before the ODI World Cup last year, Dhawan had to make way for a younger batter in Shubman Gill. His last international appearance for India was in December 2022.
