The resounding success of spinners Noman Ali and Sajid Khan in the second Test against England at Multan has led to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) adopting drastic measures in order to prepare another turning track for the series-deciding match in Rawalpindi.
Noman and Sajid took all 20 English wickets to fall in the second Test, registering match-hauls of 11 and 9 wickets respectively on a pitch that was used for the first game as well.
The series is level at 1-1.
Seeing the visitors at sea against their spinners, ground staff in Rawalpindi have been spotted using heaters and fans on both sides of the pitch in preparation for the third Test beginning October 24.
A photograph capturing three heaters and three fans placed at either end of the track is doing the rounds on social media.

“Efforts to make the track a turning one are in full flow here in Rawalpindi,” read the caption with the image
England were bowled out for 291 in their first innings of the second Test to concede a lead to the hosts.
Set a target of 297 to win in the fourth innings, the English batting collapsed against the Pakistan spin duo of Noman and Sajid, who secured a 152-run victory after bowling out Ben Stokes’s team for just 144 on the fourth day.
