The New Jersey Devils are currently at the top of the NHL standings with 51 points. A significant reason for their impressive start to the season has been the play of star forward Jesper Bratt.
Bratt has been on a real tear this season, posting 14 goals and a team-leading 47 points in 39 games thus far. This is outstanding production from the 2016 sixth-round pick.
However, what’s more encouraging about Bratt’s play is that he is not showing any signs of slowing down. The 26-year-old winger is riding a four-game point streak, with five assists over that span. In addition, he has 19 points over his last 14 contests.
Bratt is coming off a great 2023-24 season where he scored 27 goals and set new career highs with 56 assists and 83 points in 82 games. However, if he maintains his offensive dominance right now and stays healthy, he will hit even better numbers in 2024-25.
We will now need to wait and see how Bratt builds on his incredible campaign from here.
