Duke Basketball Has Some Autograph Fun

Date:

Recently we saw a post on X that showed an autograph seeker going up to WNBA players and getting them to autograph juvenile pictures of themselves. They were properly horrified with some of them tearing them up and others obviously embarrassed.

It was a fun idea and someone decided to do it at Duke.

Sion James, who is well-muscled now, sees a picture of himself as a young and skinny teen. He signs.

Spencer Hubbard, all of 5-8, sees a picture of himself at Duke Basketball camp with Coach K leaning down to talk to him. He’s holding a kid-sized ball. Hubbard signs.

Tyrese Proctor sees himself at maybe 14, in uniform and a medal around his neck. He signs.

Isaiah Evans’ picture is him catching his first fish. He’s a really little guy! He signs.

Caleb Foster is in a Team Felton jersey and looks to be about 13-14. He has his typical serious look in the photo, but it makes him smile. He signs.

Cooper Flagg is a wee lil dude with buzz cut and a smirk. He signs too.

We tend to see these guys for a couple of hours in Cameron and think that’s the whole story. It’s always nice to see different aspects of their lives and realize they’re people with regular lives and stories too.
