League Two Harrogate Town beat Liverpool Under-21s on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the EFL Trophy.
Jack Muldoon’s 44th-minute strike for the Sulphurites was cancelled out by James Norris 15 minutes from time at Wetherby Road.
But Harrogate ran out 4-2 winners in the shoot-out to gain an extra point after Terence Miles saw his spot-kick saved by Mark Oxley and Trent Kone-Doherty hit the bar.

Sam Mather put United ahead but Doncaster struck back through Joe Sbarra, Ephraim Yeboah and George Broadbent to lead 3-1.
