Elfsborg coach Oscar Hiljemark spoke to reporters during today’s pre-match press conference.
The Swedish technician discussed tomorrow’s clash with Roma.
“Of course, it’s a fantastic game that awaits us. One of the big teams in Europe is coming to visit us, and we’re happy to be able to test and see how well we defend.”
“They’re a team with a lot of very talented players and, for the last three or four games, they’ve also had a new coach, so the structure has changed a bit.”
“I think we have a pretty good idea of how they’re going to present themselves. I’ve had Ivan with me as a coach in Genoa for three years, so we’re looking forward to playing them. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
“Juric? He is a very capable football coach. He has a clear idea, a well-defined structure and a precise thought about how he wants the team to play. As I said, we spent some years together and we had both good and bad moments, so I think it will be a happy meeting when we see each other again.”
“I certainly took a lot from my time at Genoa. When you spend so many years with a coach, it’s obvious that you take with you the positive things that you notice. That’s what I did with Ivan. There are some things that may differ in our philosophy, but, as I said, it will be a lot of fun.”
