Yahoo Sports’ Jason Fitz talks with 2-time Super Bowl winning QB Eli Manning about how the Giants can bounce back from their Week 1 loss and if current QB Daniel Jones has what it takes to be an elite NFL QB. Eli joins Yahoo Sports on behalf of King’s Hawaiian Soft Pretzel Bites.

Uh, but let’s start with a little bit of football, obviously Giants fans freaking out.
What’s your message right now to Giants fans after one game?
Yeah, this is one game coming off an injury.
If you look at some of the other quarterbacks that are coming off in and also didn’t have their best.
It takes some time to trust that your back and, and that can go into your psyche a little bit.
So Daniel’s working hard, uh, he’s gonna be committed, he can get back and play at a high level and expect him to have a big week and a big bounce back week this week.
Do you believe Daniel Jones can be an elite quarterback in the NFL?
I do, I do.
I, I’ve seen Daniel, I’ve seen how hard he works.
I’ve seen his commitment.
I’ve seen his attitude, um, how he, uh he’s a leader in the locker room and does all the, the things right.
He, you know, he’s gonna work hard, he’s coachable.
Um, he’s gonna, he’s gonna, if he makes mistakes, he’s gonna want to correct them and, and be coached hard.
And so we’ve seen the glimpses we’ve seen on the playoff run two years ago how well he played with not a ton of talent.
I think he has more talent and he can get back and play at high level.
