The agent of Enzo Le Fée, Sebastien Szwarc, detailed the French midfielder’s move to Roma in the summer.
In an exclusive interview with Sportitalia, Szwarc recounted, “At the beginning of June we had a call with [Roma sporting director Florent] Ghisolfi to discuss Roma’s needs in various positions, and he asked me about Enzo’s situation.”
“When I told him that Enzo was keen on moving to Roma, the negotiations moved forward quickly and concluded in a short time.”
“I do not deny that several clubs wanted Enzo. In January 2023 he was very close to playing for Borussia Dortmund and in the summer of the same year Bayer Leverkusen were one step away from signing him. Despite this, in the end he chose Rennes for the special bond with coach Genesio. Then Milan also tried.”
“Before signing with Roma, Enzo had a video call with Daniele De Rossi. He was very impressed by the way Daniele spoke to him, a meeting that helped strengthen his decision to move to the capital.”
“With Juric we can’t talk about adaptation yet because Enzo is recovering his physical condition after a knee injury. Juric requires a lot of physical effort and Enzo appreciates this a lot given that in the last two seasons in France he was among the best in terms of recovering ball.”
“Furthermore, the coach loves intelligent and technical players and all of this fits perfectly with Enzo. I am convinced that there will be a feeling between the two of them.”
