Benjamin Tahirovic, the former Roma midfielder, could soon make a comeback to Serie A.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 21 year-old Bosnian international, who joined Ajax after two years in the Italian capital, has decided to leave the Dutch giants after just eighteen months.
He’s attracted attention from several clubs including PAOK and Celtic—however, his priority appears to be a return to Italy and Serie A, with Lazio and Fiorentina reportedly interested in his services.
Roma sold Tahirovic to Ajax in the summer of 2023 in a €7.5 million deal, with an additional €1 million in bonuses. The Giallorossi also retained 15% of any future resale of the player.
