Ex-Twitter Executives Get Key Jobs at Sam Altman-Backed World

Two former legal and policy executives who left Twitter Inc. after Elon Musk’s takeover of the social media platform are together again at rival technology mogul Sam Altman’s biometric identification startup.

Damien Kieran and Nick Pickles recently took on new jobs at World, the newly renamed endeavor backed by Altman’s Tools for Humanity Corp. A World spokeswoman confirmed that Kieran, initially hired over the summer as chief privacy officer, is also now serving as chief legal officer for the project.
