Israeli strikes targeted buildings in Dahiyeh, Beirut’s southern suburbs, late on October 5 and into October 6, according to reports.
Video filmed by @LebanonJets shows explosions and embers illuminating the densely populated area as the buzzing of drones is heard overhead. The source told Storyful they filmed the footage from Achrafieh, in eastern Beirut, with a 2000mm lens.
IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee posted a map of Beirut’s southern suburbs, specifically the areas of Burj al-Barajneh, al-Laylaki and Haret Hreik, on X on October 5.
