The injury bug has already hit the wide receiver position, unfortunately, with a number of injuries through the first two weeks of the season to some top options, including (but not limited to): Justin Jefferson (quad), Amon-Ra St. Brown (soft tissue), Cooper Kupp (ankle), Puka Nacua (knee) and Jordan Addison (ankle).

Luckily, there are some players drafted in the later rounds who are stepping up to the place … like Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Chris Godwin. Some of us here at Yahoo Fantasy predicted Godwin would have a bounce-back season as he made his return to a full-time slot role. However, none of us could have predicted that he’d rank as the overall WR1 for fantasy through the first two weeks of the season.

Godwin may have continued his hot start to the year in Week 2 with another big fantasy day… but it wasn’t as big as that of rookie Marvin Harrison Jr., who defeated the “slow” narratives circulating after Week 2 with a stunning 5-134-2 line despite playing just 70% of snaps in the Arizona Cardinals’ blowout win over the Rams. Joining him in the “rookie breakout” category was New York Giants’ rookie Malik Nabers, who impressed with a 10-127-1 line of his own in Week 2.

Is a Rome Odunze breakout next? How will wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle fare without Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback? Is Diontae Johnson a viable flex option with Andy Dalton in at quarterback for the Carolina Panthers? With all of those questions up in the air, our fantasy experts are here to help with their Week 3 wide receiver rankings for half-PPR scoring formats:

Which wide receiver do you predict will have a dominant showing in Week 3?
