Fantasy football managers the world over were hoping the Browns would bench Deshaun Watson in favor of Jameis Winston. Instead, Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles tear, and after a brief Dorian Thompson-Robinson lead, Jameis Winston started in Week 8.
And the offense was instantly more exciting.

Not only did the Browns defeat the Ravens, but they finally produced a top-five fantasy wide receiver in a given week. And not only was he top-five, but Cedric Tillman came in second in scoring at the position.
The Browns will take on the Chargers in Week 9, a team that thus far has featured a tougher defense vs. wide receivers than the Ravens, so it remains to be seen if Tillman can repeat anything close to that performance. But as we all know, Winston is going to sling the football no matter the opponent, and it’s good to know Tillman is one of the players he’s looking to connect with.
