Five injured in shooting at Lynchburg restaurant

UPDATE 3:28 P.M. — Lynchburg police say all the victims in Friday’s shooting have been treated and released from the hospital.

They identified the victims as a 33-year-old male, a 23-year-old male, a 20-year-old male, a 27-year-old female, and a 24-year-old female.


LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Five people were injured when a shooting broke out at a restaurant Friday night.

Witnesses told dispatch around 11:30 p.m. that they heard gunshots ring out on the patio of BeeBee’s Spot on Fort Avenue. Police arrived to find three adults with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

They were taken to the hospital, and shortly after, police say two more people showed up to Lynchburg General Hospital with similar wounds from the same shooting.

Officers are investigating and ask anyone with information to reach out.
