Ersson first suffered his injury during the Flyers’ Nov. 2 matchup against the Boston Bruins. This forced him to leave the contest early.

Ersson returned to action on Nov. 9 against the Florida Panthers and then last played on Nov. 11 against the San Jose Sharks. Now, he is set to miss more time, which is simply rough news for both the player and the team.

Ersson did not dress for the Flyers’ most recent matchup against the Ottawa Senators.

Ersson has been off to a solid start for the Flyers, as he has a 5-2-2 record, a 2.70 goals-against average, and a .902 save percentage.
