Seventeen major champions who have combined to win golf’s biggest events 26 times and seven members of the World Golf Hall of Fame are among the final commitments to the PGA Tour Champions Constellation Furyk & Friends next week at the Timuquana Country Club.
Four-time major champion, Hall of Fame member and Schwab Cup points leader Ernie Els heads the all-star cast who will compete in the fourth edition of Furyk & Friends. Other Hall of Famers in the field are Davis Love III of St. Simons Island, Ga., Vijay Singh of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fred Couples, Retief Goosen, Jose Maria Olazabal and Colin Montgomerie.
Other major winners include tournament host Jim Furyk of Jacksonville, city native David Duval, John Daly, Corey Pavin, Jeff Sluman, Mark Calcavecchia, Darren Clarke, Lee Janzen and Tom Lehman.
The tournament begins Oct. 4. Tickets for competitive rounds and the Furyk Foundation Concert featuring the Brothers Osborn Oct. 1 at Daily’s Place are available at constellationfurykandfriends.com.
Brett Quigley is the defending champion.
