Sep. 18—HUDSON, Wis. — Bemidji State women’s golf freshman Sarah Sroga carded a season-best 171 (86-85) as the Beavers finished 11th at the Maverick/Golden Bear Fall Brawl held at the Troy Burne Golf Course in Hudson, Wis., on Monday and Tuesday.
BSU finished with a team score of 718 (352-366), its lowest of the season, while Sioux Falls won the tournament title with a score of 634 (308-326). For complete results,

Sroga tied for 39th as an individual while fellow freshman Trista Bilden followed and tied for 49th with a score of 178. Bilden shot a season-low 83 in round one.
Sophomore Haylee Kammann was next, carding 183 (94-89), while sophomore Elli Anderson (89-97=186) and freshman Lauren Kammann (97-99=196) rounded out the Beavers’ top five scorers.
Senior Savannah Byfuglien competed as an individual in the tournament and carded 211 (106-105).
Bemidji State returns to action next week and travels to Lake City to compete in the Watkins Invitational held at The Jewel Golf Club on Sept. 23-24.
