Fulham and Ipswich make Premier League penalty history in draw ⌚

Fulham and Ipswich’s 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage was a game of two halves, with the second 45 proving to be an absolute thriller, featuring three penalties and a little bit of Premier League history.

Unfortunately for Fulham, it’s unwanted history for them, as the time between Raúl Jiménez levelling from the spot and Liam Delap being fouled by Timothy Castagne in the other penalty box was the quickest time between two spot kicks in a post-1992 game.

There was just 21 seconds of in-game play between the two, a record that seems incredibly unlikely to be broken anytime soon.

Jiménez would have the last laugh though, clinically slotting home the third penalty of the game in the first minute of added time to grab a point for his side.
