BOYS

Class AA

 • Billings Senior 54, Helena Capital 46: Davyn Lehfeldt hit for 15 points to lead a balanced Broncs’ offense, with Zy Zilkoski, Brody Allen and Chase Bad Bear all dropping 10 points apiece. Conor Toivonen led the Bruins with 12 points, and Merek Mihelish and Benton Beizer tallied 10 points apiece. Landon Levang chipped in with six points.

• Bozeman Gallatin 60, Kalispell Glacier 54: The Raptors won their second straight on the year, building a 29-16 halftime lead, with a late Glacier rally coming up short. Kade Fasting and Mac Melin were double trouble, putting up 13 points apiece. Carter Dahlke scored 11 points and Grant Vigen supplied seven. No stats were reported for Glacier.

 • Helena 57, Billings West 55: Jaxan Lieberg knocked down 21 points, Mase Spaulding netted 17, and the Bengals prevailed in a wire-to-wire battle with the Golden Bears to go 2-0 on the year. Tevin Wetzel added seven points for Helena and Madden Spaulding six. Cash Rice hit for 19 points to pace the Golden Bears, with Cohen Groener scoring 17 and Colton Bush eight.

 • Billings Skyview 77, Butte 40: Tayshaun Williams led four players in double figures with 18 points as the Falcons scored early and often en route to their third win. Camble Bjornstad and Merek Fisher netted 11 points apiece; Bjornstad had three steals and Fisher collected seven rebounds. Zakai Owens scored nine points and led the Falcons with 10 boards. No stats were reported for Butte.

Class A

• Libby 39, Stevensville 32: Ryan Beagle scored 17 points, and Tristan Andersen and James Woody rang up nine points apiece for the Loggers, who won their third straight after dropping their season opener.

• Dillon 66, Lewistown 33: The Beavers held the Golden Eagles to just 14 first-half points while scoring 31, then closed out the fourth quarter on a 23-9 run. Kyler Engellant led the way with 20 points. Cohen Hartman tallied 15 points, Will Hansen scored eight and Braxtyn Turney seven. Kason Brown paced the Golden Eagles with 11 points, and McKay Shobe netted six.

• East Helena 71, Whitefish 47: The Vigilantes (2-2) snapped a two-game skid with a breakout victory, building a 37-24 halftime lead and cruising to the win. DeonDray Ellis knocked down 22 points, Talen Thatcher canned 13 and Slade Olson 12. Carson Gulick scored 14 points, CJ Thew had 13 and Will Sisson 12 for the Bulldogs, who suffered their first loss of the season (2-1).

• Bigfork 56, Miles City 52: The Vikings took down the Cowboys in Lewistown. No stats were reported for Bigfork, but Bridger Muri scored 17 points and Rylin Gentry scored 10 to lead the Cowboys.

• Lockwood 65, Browning 50: Zicciah Callison-Blake had 17 points to lead four Lions in double figures past Browning. Kobe Blake added 13, Nate Davis had 12 and Gabe Ronquillo had 11 for Lockwood. Tristan Crawford led the Indians with 10 points.

Class B

• Harlem 60, Poplar 44: Lance Morgan hit for 20 points, Matt Billmayer dropped 12 and Tayden Colliflower added nine for the Wildcats (3-2), who jumped all over the Indians in the opening quarter, taking an 18-7 lead. Wilder Bearcub paced the Indians with 11 points. Chasen Pribbernow scored nine points and three players added seven points apiece.

Thompson Falls 52, Seeley-Swan 45: Bryson LeCoure’s 24 points helped the Class B Blue Hawks past the Class C Blackhawks at home to improve to 2-2. Sam Burgess chipped in 10 for Thompson Falls as well. Seeley-Swan’s Derrick Brovold had 20 on the night as the Blackhawks slid to 3-3 before their holiday break.

Fairview 46, Baker 40: The Warriors’ 23-point third quarter outburst at home helped power Fairview past the Spartans (0-3) to send them into the break above .500 at 3-2. A trio of scorers hit double figures for Fairview in Gabe Callender (12), Troy Karst (12) and Gavin Callender (10). Baker’s Drake Graham led all scorers with 13 points and Jarek Janz added 10.

• Superior 60, Darby 46: Phin Cataldo and Gannon Quinlan drained 22 and 21 points, with Trizten Avila and Logan Merrill supplying six points each for the Bobcats. McCoy Townsend led all scorers with 23 points for the Tigers. Jodan Browning netted 10 points. 

• Columbus 48, Big Timber 35: Colter Chamberlin scored 13 points for the Cougars, with Ethan West hitting for nine and Grayson Williams eight. Max Hanes added seven points Brock Johnson poured in 18 points for the Herders. Zach Cowell chipped in with seven.

• Fairfield 57, Conrad 37: The Eagles built a 23-14 halftime advantage and held off the Cowboys in the second half for their third straight victory. Brock Peace had the hot hand, draining 16 points, including a pair of treys. Devon Lonner tallied nine points, Reed Von eight, and Bryce Hooper six. Ten players in all made the scoring column. No stats were reported for Conrad.

Class C

• Plenty Coups 54, Harlowton-Ryegate-Judith Gap 48: Trailing 38-33 going into the fourth quarter, the Warriors (3-1) used a 21-10 rally to down the Engineers (3-2). Darrell Good Luck and Tashaun Stewart dropped 16 points apiece, and Uriah Pisano tallied 13. Kenyan Davis was unstoppable for the Engineers, hitting for 33 points to lead all scorers.

• Plentywood 74, Froid-Lake 30: Ayden Kaul rang up 19 points, Landon Flickinger hit for 16 and Nathan Trupe 12 as the Wildcats improved to 3-1. Rylan Young led the 0-3 Redhawks with 15 points.

Fromberg 72, Northern Cheyenne 64: Clayton Peterson and Wyatt Lowery combined for 48 of the Falcons’ total by scoring 25 and 23 points respectively. Hunter Gleason chipped in another 16 as the Falcons improved to 4-0. The Eagles (2-2) had their own trio of high-powered scorers as Nate Longsioux scored 24, AJ Longsioux had 20 and Lolin Shorty added 17.

• Melstone 47, Bridger 28: Nolan Kamerman went for 22 points, Tucker Keller knocked down 12 and Trey Meredith nine as the Broncs rolled past the Scouts. Gage Goltz led Bridger with 12 points as he surpassed 1,000 career points.

• Hot Springs 60, Valley Christian 55: In a game that was close all the way, the Savage Heat outscored the Eagles 22-14 in the final stanza to even their record at 2-2. Nick McAllister hit for 21 points and Weston Slonaker netted 12. Wesley Adams and Ben Aldridge chipped in with seven points apiece. Andrew McKetheu led three players in double figures for the Eagles with 19 points. Nick Korvavri tallied 15 and Daniel Stoltzfus 14.

• Bainville 36, Westby-Grenora 34: In the nail-biter of the night, the Bulldogs trailed by three going into the fourth quarter and outscored the Thunder 11-6 down the stretch to collect their first win of the season. Reed Winn scored 14 points, Isaiah Bjorge netted seven and Rowan Wilson six. Dilan Wade carried the Thunder with a big game, draining 25 points.

• Culbertson 67, Richey-Lambert 35: Plenny Williams, Brooks Solem and Mark Kirkaldie knocked down 13 points apiece, Dawson Bergum scored 11 and Gavin Deen eight for the Cowboys.

• Circle 63, Jordan 45: The Wildcat boys remained unbeaten at 5-0 behind the two-headed beast of Owen Beery (24) and Duke Williamson (23). Kash Ereaux rang up 12 points. Circle pulled away with a 17-5 run in the second quarter.

• Chester-Joplin-Inverness 52, Turner 43: The Hawks bagged their third straight win behind a monster game from Ryland St. John, who threw down 26 points. Elijah Sanders added 10 points and, and Nate Nelson and Cooper Streit provided six points apiece. Roger Carrillo rang up 10 points for the Tornadoes, Caleb Zelmer and Tate Beck scored eight points apiece, and Carson Maloney and Ty Beck scored seven points each. 

• Shields Valley 71, White Sulphur Springs 36: Five players reached double figures for the Rebels in their blowout win over the Hornets. Wyatt Dunkel dropped 19 points, Robbie Anderson and Jace Page netted 14 apiece, Dawson Matzinger tallied 13 and Tanner Whiting 11. Tanner Novark had 18 to lead the Hornets.

Highwood 41, Great Falls Central 31: The Mountaineers held the Mustangs scoreless in the first quarter as they ran out to a 9-0 lead and gave them enough cushion to get to 2-1. Ryder Zanto scored 13 points and Wyatt Mortensen had 12 to lead the Mountaineers. Caleb Diekhans led the Mustangs (1-2) with nine points.

Roy-Winifred 72, Hobson-Moore 44: Wyatt Wickens scored 21 points to lead four Red Raiders (2-1) in double figures against the Titans (0-3) as they opened 8C play. Gunner Knox had 15, Johnathan Rich had 14 and Kellen Heggem had 12. No stats were reported for Hobson-Moore.

Winnett-Grass Range 53, Denton-Geyser-Stanford-Geraldine 44: Jace Bantz had 21 points and Wyatt Melton had 16 as the Rams (2-1) took down the Bearcats (2-1) in 8C play. No stats were reported for DGSG.

Scobey 83, Dodson 23: A balanced attack led the Spartans past the Coyotes to keep their unbeaten 3-0 record intact. John Carney led the scoring with 13 points while Kolten Machart chipped in 12 and both Brecken Maher and Bram Handran had 10 apiece. No stats were reported for Dodson.

Broadview-Lavina 65, Reed Point-Rapelje 17: The Pirates rolled to their fourth-straight win as they earned the road victory against the Renegades (1-4). Connor Glennie had 18 points and Carter Erickson chipped in 15 for Broadview-Lavina. Landen Bryant led Reed Point-Rapelje with 10 points.

• Roberts 58, Custer-Hysham 55 (OT): In a game in which neither team led by more than a single point between each quarter, the Rockets (1-1) eventually came out on top. Custer-Hysham’s Layne Duncan scored 29 points to lead all scorers and Wyatt Kirby chipped in 20, but the Rebels (2-3) came up just short. Thommy Howard scored 21 points to lead the Rockets and Gus Kosel added 14 as six players found the scoring column.

Lincoln 59, Two Eagle River 36: The Lynx improved to 2-0 behind a 20-point outburst from Roegun Dietz. They also got 15 points from Dylan Jakushak and 12 from Teegan Riddle. Two Eagle River (2-4) was led by Javian Burke and Jason Trahan with seven points apiece.

GIRLS

Class AA

• Butte 49, Billings Skyview 46: The Bulldogs (2-1) took care of business in the final quarter, turning back the Falcons with a 14-8 run. Kiki LoneBear led the Falcons in defeat with 18 points and nine boards. Tenley Leffler hit for 13 points, six rebounds and five assists. Taryn Salveson contributed eight points. No stats were reported for Butte.

• Billings West 61, Helena 45: Maise Heggem-Prinkki put up 17 and Reagan Soucy chipped in 15 as the Golden Bears (3-0) rolled past the Bengals (1-1) on their first road trip of the season. Cas Smith had 14 for the Bengals and Maddie Todorovich added 12 to join her in double figures.

• Helena Capital 45, Billings Senior 31: The Bruins used a balanced offense and tough D to stifle the Broncs, limiting them to 14 first-half points. Eva Dahlquist and Madi Emmert netted 12 points apiece and Ali Miller scored eight points. Octavia Meyer led the Broncs with eight points, and Eva Blatchford tallied six points.  

Class A

• Billings Central 65, Butte Central 4: The Rams improved to 3-0 with a rout. Kam Reinker dropped 18 points and hauled in 12 rebounds. Annika Stergar scored 12 points, and Lyssa Peterson and Amaya Lorash hit for eight points apiece.

• Frenchtown 58, Glendive 34: Ava Amsler led the Red Devils in defeat with 15 points, and Jaylene Silha added six points. No stats were reported for Frenchtown (2-2). 

• Lockwood 54, Browning 43: Behind the one-two scoring punch of Dani Jordan (23) and Tailey Harris (21), the Lions won their third straight. Teslin Trombley and Josephine Michael paced the Indians with 13 points apiece, and Shaylee Heavy Runner netted 12 points.

• Livingston 52, Polson 49: Maria Turck rang up 15 points and Chase Vermillion scored 13 for the Rangers. Rylee Taylor-Jefferson netted 13 to lead the Pirates, and Alyesia Black was right behind her with 12.

• Miles City 55, Bigfork 49: The Cowgirls grabbed a quick nine-point lead in the opening quarter and never gave it up, running their record to 3-1. Keni Wade led a balanced Bigfork offense with 11 points. The Gunlock sisters, Paeten and Braeden, rang up 10 points apiece and Keegan Campbell tallied eight. No stats were reported for Miles City.

• Hardin 57, Columbia Falls 15: Kevee Rogers drained 13 points, Makayla Takes Enemy and Annika Big Man scored nine points apiece, and StarryKnight Round Face tallied eight for the Bulldogs, who improved to 3-0.

• East Helena 55, Whitefish 37: The Vigilantes picked up their first win of the season behind 17 points from Brooke Harris, with Keeley Hamilton draining 13 points and Ellie Silvonen 11. No stats were reported for Whitefish.

• Dillon 58, Lewistown 23: Keleigh Graham scored 21 points to lead Dillon as Landri Hartman added 12 and Kylie Konen 10 as the Beavers got going in Lewistown.

Class B

• Jefferson 62, Manhattan 25: Michaela Morris scored 16 points, and 10 players reached the scoring column for the Panthers, who took a commanding 18-2 lead in the first quarter. Parker Layng netted eight points, and Josie Oxarart, Ryian Eveland and Cameron Toney all scored six points apiece.

• Red Lodge 53, Roundup 26: Tacelyn Christman netted 12 points, Alyssa Emineth hit for 10 and Shuck Addison and Katie Reimer chipped in with seven and six points for the Rams. Hallie Hofer netted 11 points to lead the Panthers, with Addison McHenry contributing eight points.

• Thompson Falls 54, Seeley-Swan 30: Addy Deal was tops with 16 points, Gabi Hannum netted 13, Annalise Fairbank hit for nine and Solvieg Nygaard added seven as the Blue Hawks (1-3) earned their first win of the season.

• Baker 72, Fairview 28: The defending Class B champs laid it on the Warriors to go 3-1 on the year. Emily Enos poured in 25 points, Madison O’Connor hit for 19 and Hope Gonsioroski scored 10 points. Sophie Sundheim led the Warriors with 11 points and Macy Tjelde added seven.

• Florence-Carlton 59, St. Ignatius 50: Maggie Schneiter took charge with 15 points, Emory Ralston drained 13 and Kenzy Pickering 11 for the 2-1 Falcons. Kason Page led all scorers with 19 points for Mission. Kieran Incashola tallied 14 points, with Cora Matt and Brooklyn McClure adding six points apiece.

• Darby 54, Superior 44: The Bobcats built a 10-point halftime lead, but the Tigers owned the second half, outscoring Superior 34-14. Georgia Fisher poured in 24 points and Hadley Heiland was right behind her with 23. Makenzie Reum drained 21 points for the Bobcats, with Braelynn Mangold hitting for 11 points.

• Ennis 64, Whitehall 35: Marisa Snider scored 33 points to lead the Mustangs. Mikayla Ledgerwood chipped in 13. No stats were reported for Whitehall.

• Big Timber 36, Columbus 30: Anaya Hope and Laney Ketcham led Big Timber past the Cougars with 11 points each and Tori Beck had 10. Hannah West scored 12 points for Columbus to lead all scorers.

Class C

• Melstone 67, Bridger-Belfry-Fromberg 23: Avery Eike hit for 16 points, Maggie Eike netted 15 and Abby Boyd 14 for the Broncs as they rolled to their fifth straight win. Emma Myhre chipped in with nine points. Delaney Klaassen scored nine points to lead the Scouts, with Loral Ankney netting eight. 

• Shields Valley 57, White Sulphur Springs 24: Gaige Taylor had a big night for the Rebels, dropping 22 points. Kassidie Rock netted 12 points, and Sierra Wilcox and Shayne Taylor supplied eight points apiece. Natalie Fisher led the Hornets with 15 points.

• Custer-Hysham 59, Roberts 27: Tavee Duncan rang up 16 points, Reagan Fink delivered 14 and Olivia Yochum 13 for the Rebels, who improved to 4-1, racing out of the gate with a 22-3 first quarter. TJ Chirrick poured in 18 points for Roberts.

• Hot Springs 44, Valley Christian 26: Kara Christensen collected 16 points, with Brooke Jackson netting seven, and Lilia Spanel and Erica Cannon supplying six points apiece. Sydney Schneider led the Eagles with seven points and Carmandee Coghlan added six.

• Forsyth 47, Absarokee 28: Daysa Pinkerton hit for 14 points, Addi Purkett netted eight, and Remi Pederson and Shellbie Larsen added six points apiece. 

• Chester-Joplin-Inverness 56, Turner 43: Brynn Kammerzell shot the lights out with 30 points, Scarlet Sundgren hit for 12 and Brie Mattson supplied eight for the Hawks, who remained unbeaten at 3-0.

• Denton-Geyser-Stanford-Geraldine 55, Winnett-Grass Range 28: Emma Smith led nine players in the scoring column with 17 points, and Briella Becker knocked down 16 for the Bearcats, who improved to 2-1. McKenzi Milburn supplied seven points. No stats were reported for W-GR.

• Bainville 57, Westby-Grenora 33: The Bulldogs won their third straight to remain unbeaten, with Hailey Berwick (18) and Addison Hansen (17) doing the heavy lifting on offense. Lila Butikofer netted 11 points. Abby Lowes led all scorers with 20 points for the Thunder (3-1). Rylie Gebhardt contributed 10 points.

• Roy-Winifred 62, Hobson-Moore 33: Jen Ewen shot the lights out with 25 points, and the Red Raiders erupted for a 25-6 run in the third quarter to take command and even their record at 2-2. Claire Wickens drained 14 points and Lyla Ewen hit for 12. No stats were reported for Hobson-Moore.

• Broadview-Lavina 37, Reed Point – Rapelje 28: Ava Mallo rang up 14 points and LouAnn Peters scored eight for the Pirates, who moved to 3-1. 

• St. Regis 57, Troy 29: With eight players making the scoring column, the Class C Tigers led by 19 points at half and never looked back. Jamie Cleveland led all scorers with 14 points. Sophomore Kirsti Jellesed led the Trojans with 10 points. Senior Autumn Fisher and junior Kylie Cole contributed six points each.

• Scobey 53, Dodson 11: Avery Wolfe knocked down 12 points and Kennadi Cromwell had her back with 11 as the Spartans evened their record at 2-2. Kaytie Aanstad came through with eight points and Carrie Holum added six. Jazlyn KillEagle scored five points for the 0-2 Coyotes.  

• North Star 42, Hays-Lodgepole 40: The Knights used a fourth-quarter surge to get past the Thunderbirds by two. Sattoriva led the Knights with 11 points. Shaydyn Blount scored 10 to lead Hays-Lodgepole.

• Fort Benton 52, Box Elder 36: The Longhorns handed the Bears their first loss this season. Lilly Ferris scored 26 to lead all scorers. Martay Stiffarm-Rosette had 18 for the Bears.

• Circle 67, Jordan 25: Madeline Moline scored 23 points to lead all scorers and the Wildcats past the Mustangs. Allie Kountz added 15 and Emma Murphy 12 for Circle. Skylar Lawrence had 13 to lead Jordan.

• Plentywood 46, Froid-Lake 33: Mallory Tommerup had 27 points to lead the Wildcats. Brooklyn Nordwick scored 14 and Mara Salvevold had 11 for Froid-Lake.
