Georgia football’s top 5 PFF offensive grades in the NFL

Date:

The 2024-25 NFL season ended with several Georgia Bulldogs shining in the NFL. There were three Georgia All-Pros and four that made the Pro Bowl. After the Super Bowl, the NFL’s Pro Football Focus grades are final. Here are the top five highest graded Georgia Bulldogs on offense, according to PFF.

86.2 overall grade, 65.1 receiving grade, 59.5 pass-blocking grade, 88.6 running grade, 30.8 run-blocking grade.

Cook was one of the four former Georgia Bulldogs to make the Pro Bowl, and he earned it with 1,009 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, which leads the league. He continued his excellent play in the postseason, with 336 all-purpose yards and six total touchdowns.

Cook is hoping to sign a massive contract extension this offseason.

85.1 overall grade, 88.4 passing grade, 51.6 pass-blocking grade, 56.8 running grade, 56.1 run-blocking grade

Bowers had a historic rookie season. He set the records for most receiving yards by a rookie tight end and most receptions by any rookie player regardless of position. His play earned him a spot in the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro team. With a new quarterback, Bowers could improve significantly in Year 2.

Like Bowers, McConkey also had a record-breaking season with an AFC West team. He broke the record for receiving yards in a game by a rookie in his playoff debut. It wasn’t just one game, though. McConkey was a beast all season. He caught 82 passes for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns. His unbelievable double move on slants and route running made him a matchup nightmare.

No. 4: George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

78.6 overall grade, 79.7 receiving grade, 63.6 run-blocking grade

Pickens had major expectations entering 2024. As the No. 1 receiver on the Steelers, Pickens had a chance to have an All-Pro breakout season. He didn’t completely live up to that, only catching 59 passes for 900 yards and three touchdowns. However, his postseason game against Baltimore (five receptions, 87 yards, and a touchdown) proves he still has immense talent.

5. Andrew Thomas, OT, New York Giants

New York Giants offensive tackle Andrew Thomas (78) and his teammates run onto the field moments before kickoff, Sunday, October 13, 2024, in East Rutherford.

75.4 overall grade, 73.8 run-blocking grade, 71.8 pass-blocking grade

Thomas’ season was cut short due to an injury in Week 6, but with just 16 pressures allowed as a left tackle, Thomas has earned the massive extension he received in 2024. He’ll look to be healthy in 2025.
