Georgia Tech makes debut in latest women’s basketball Power 10 rankings

NCAA.com correspondent Autumn Johnson has revealed the season’s tenth Power 10 rankings.

⛹️‍♀️ MORE WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL ⛹️‍♀️

1. UCLA (Previously 1)

The Bruins defeat Indiana to roll on to 15-0 for the first time since its 2019-20 season.

2. South Carolina (Previously 2)

The Gamecocks haven’t lost an SEC game since 2021.

3. Notre Dame (Previously 3) 

Olivia Miles and Hannah Hidalgo are the most dangerous tandem in the backcourt, combining 43 points against North Carolina, including 10 threes together!

4, 5, 6. Southern California, UConn, LSU (Previously 4, 5, 6)

No changes in placement for these teams; they’ve maintained their consistent performance.

7. Maryland (Previously 7) 

The Terps survived Iowa, who tried to storm back from a 25-point deficit.

8. Texas (Previously 8) 

The Longhorns defeated Oklahoma on the road in the Red River Rivalry, paced by Jordan Lee, who came off the bench and had herself a night with 17 points.

9. Ohio State (Previously 10)

The undefeated Buckeyes move up a spot from last week.

10. Georgia Tech (Previously NR)

One out of five teams in the nation that is still undefeated, with a 15-0 record. It’s time to give the Yellow Jackets the recognition they deserve as a top-10 caliber team! Georgia Tech already has three ranked wins (Oregon, North Carolina,  and Nebraska). The team has beaten its ACC foes quite decisively. Nell Fortner’s squad is a force to be reckoned with.  

Dropped out

Oklahoma — The Sooners lost to Texas and escaped a near upset over Tennessee, 87-86.
