Girls’ Basketball Falls Short at Northview in Non-Conference Game, 51-39 — Central Catholic High School

The Central Catholic girls’ basketball team suffered a 51-39 setback at Northview on Saturday at the NHS Main Gym.  With the non-league loss, the Fighting Irish fall to 1-6 on the season.

CCHS was outscored 24-14 over the course of the 2nd & 3rd quarters against the host Lady Cats.

Junior Marissa Justen and junior Serinity Bolden each notched 11 points for the Scarlet & Gray.

Grace Krahl managed a game-high 14 points for the Wildcats (8-1), while Jenna Clausius contributed 11 points.

Central Catholic will return to the hardwood against Father Gabriel Richard on Saturday, January 4, starting with the junior varsity game at 2 p.m. in the Sullivan Center. Tickets for Saturday’s Catholic High School League (CHSL) matchup on Cherry Street can be purchased at bit.ly/3EjJhky.
