Serie A witnessed a huge game in the title race today as Lazio took on Napoli and picked up a vital 1-0 win over Anotnio Conte’s side.
The result leaves Atalanta at the top of the table due to their win over Milan on Friday. Napoli slip to second, thanks to Gustav Isaksen’s late goal that was taken beautifully and he was also set up brilliantly by Tijjani Noslin, who came off the bench to make an impact.
The Swede, who was close to leaving the club in the summer, spoke to DAZN after the game and he believes that he probably put in his best performance in the game today.
He said, as relayed by LaLazioSiamoNoi: “Best performance? Maybe yes, it’s important to score but the 3 points were very important, especially after Parma. I’m very happy for the goal and the points.
He also spoke about the advice that Marco Baroni has given to him that helps him during games this season.
“Every day Baroni tells me that I have to go one on one so that’s how I have to play. We have to be brave, shoot on goal, today it went well and I’m very happy.”
The Danish winger now has two goals in the season and already has two assists in the campaign, as he looks to take his tally up and make a bigger impact than he did last season.
