Bri Morreale added 18 points and Taylor McCullough had 14 for Peters Township (2-0), the preseason No. 1 in Class 5A. Rylee Kalocay had 12 for Upper St. Clair (1-1), the top-ranked team in Class 6A.
Albert Gallatin 48, Connellsville 39 – Mya Glisan scored 24 points and Grayce Panos added 16 to lead Albert Gallatin (2-0) at the C. Vivian Stringer tournament at Laurel Highlands. Whitney Bobish scored 13 and Sara Tinkey had 10 for Connellsville (0-3).
