How Peoria-area golfers finished at the 2024 IESA state finals

Pekin Broadmoor’s boys golf team finished second place Friday at the Illinois Elementary School Association boys state finals, the program’s second straight grade-school state trophy.

Two Peoria-area boys golfers also finished among the top 10 in the one-round event held at Metamora Fields Golf Course. Morton Junior High’s Lee Bolliger tied for fourth place with an even-par 71, while Shane Cunningham of Peoria Reservoir shot 74 to tie for 10th. No area players finished in the top 10 of the girls finals.
