After reaching the Final Four for the first time in program history last season, Alabama will attempt to make another deep NCAA Tournament run in 2024-25.
The Crimson Tide will bring back Sporting News All-American Mark Sears, who averaged 21.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in 2023-24. March Madness standout Grant Nelson is also returning, and head coach Nate Oats landed former Rutgers center Clifford Omoruyi in the transfer portal.
Before the official start of the new season, Alabama will face Memphis in its final exhibition contest. Head coach Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway is hoping that transfer guards Tyrese Hunter (Texas) and PJ Haggerty (Tulsa) will lead the Tigers back to the NCAA Tournament.
