The Hawkeyes (1-0) opened the season with a 91-73 win over Northern Illinois, which gave Jan Jensen her first official victory as Iowa head coach. On the other side, Megan Duffy picked up her first win as Virginia Tech head coach with a 99-57 win over UNC Wilmington on Monday. This will mark the second time these teams have met in as many seasons.
