The 2024 US Open Cup began all the way back in March with roughly 100 teams representing 14 soccer leagues throughout the United States. After more than six months of play, the US Open Cup final will be played between Los Angeles Football Club and Sporting Kansas City, which are both Major League Soccer teams. If Sporting KC wins tonight, that would mark fifth U.S. Open Cup title for the franchise, a record for most U.S. Open Cup wins by any MLS team.
