How to watch Miami (OH) vs. Michigan – NCAA Men’s Basketball (11/18/24) | Channel, stream, preview

Date:

ANN ARBOR — A midwestern battle is set for Monday night in Ann Arbor, as the Michigan Wolverines look to pick up a second straight win when they host the Miami RedHawks.

The Wolverines were hungry to get back on the winning track after a disappointing loss to Wake Forest last week. They found themselves in a tight battle with TCU early on this past Friday night. However, a balanced scoring attack some tough defense in the second half led to Michigan outscoring the Horned Frogs 42-33 in the final 20 minutes, pulling out a 76-64 win.

Nimari Burnett led the maize and blue with 16 points in the win, with Tre Donaldson chiming in with 14. Danny Wolf also had 14 points, registering a double-double with 14 rebounds.

This will clearly be the RedHawks’ toughest opponent so far this season. Miami started off the season with a win over Appalachian State in the MAC-Sun Belt Conference Challenge a couple of weeks ago, though they followed that up with a loss to Wright State. The RedHawks responded by beating Maryland Eastern Shore last Tuesday.

The Wolverines and RedHawks have met on the hardwood six times. Michigan has five wins over their border foe, though the last time they faced off was in Dec. 2006. Miami does have one win over the Wolverines…that coming back in Dec. 1950.
