Two of the top high school basketball teams in the country will square off on Monday night at the 5 For The Fight National Hoopfest. Montverde Academy will face Wasatch Academy on the first night of the three-day showcase.
The Eagles are coming off a season in which they dominated the competition on their way to a perfect 33-0 record. Montverde Academy saw a ton of talent leave the program, including likely No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick Cooper Flagg, but it unsurprisingly still has multiple Division I prospects on the roster.
The Tigers are led by Isiah Harwell, who is a top-15 prospect in the Class of 2025, according to ESPN and 247 Sports. A skilled 6-6 shooting guard, Harwell committed to Houston over California, Gonzaga and Texas.
