Leon Draisaitl joined hosts Jason Demers, P.K Subban, and Andi Petrillo during last night’s slate of games. The highlight of his appearance can be summarized in the following clip:

“I heard you stir your beer with a spoon,” the former Oilers defender Demers asks Draisaitl. “And I want to know what the hell that is about.” After the laughter dies down, he explains.

“Yeah that’s true. I’m not the biggest fan of the carbonation in it,” Draisaitl reveals. “Sometimes if you have a couple they sit nicer in the stomach if you just take the carbonation out.”

Amazon Prime subscribers in Canada will have access to the NHL Coast to Coast show. It streams every Thursday night, where they broadcast every NHL game.

They provide analysis, highlights, and more for free on Amazon Prime.

Draisaitl wants to build on his team’s last season’s trip to the Stanley Cup Final. In his eyes, the only thing left to do is win the Stanley Cup.

Last year, Draisaitl produced 106 points, 41 of which were goals. He has five 100+ point seasons and five 40+ goal seasons in his entire NHL career.

Tomorrow night, catch Draisaitl and the rest of the Oilers against the Chicago Blackhawks.
