‘I sold my house to travel the world’

Date:

A woman who sold her house to visit every country in the world has said her adventure has taken her “breath away every day”.

Lynn Stephenson, originally from Durham, lived in Nottinghamshire for 40 years before selling her property in Carlton two years ago.

She has since visited 168 countries.

The 61-year-old said: “I think Covid gave me the push that I needed because I never believed that you could lock the world down and it happened, and I think I found that a bit scary.

“It just takes my breath away every day.”

Lynn, who completed her first round the world trip in 1992, said she planned to see in the new year on a boat in Sydney in Australia.
