‘I think’… Rivaldo has now shared his score prediction for Barcelona vs Real Madrid

Over the years, several Brazilians have played for FC Barcelona, and some of them have gone on to write their names in the history books of the club, while also winning the hearts of the Blaugrana faithful.

Ronaldinho remains one of the most beloved Brazilians in the club’s history, but there have been some other players who have also had a comparable influence on the Catalan club.

One such player is Rivaldo, who played with some of the biggest names in the club’s history, including Xavi, Puyol, and Guardiola. He was also the author of one of the highly memorable bicycle kick goals that will always remain in the memories of the Barcelona fans.

Now enjoying his retirement, the Brazilian frequently comments on his former club. He recently appeared in an interview with SPORT and talked about different aspects of the club, including the performance of one of his compatriots.

Another topic he talked about in this interview was the upcoming El Clasico. The Brazilian legend compared the approach of the two teams in terms of squad building:

“Real Madrid has a lot of money and signs expensive players, while Barcelona is betting on homegrown talent, their academy. And when it comes to a derby like this, there are no favorites.”

He believed that Madrid will be the team that will face greater pressure in this game:

“The pressure is on Real Madrid because they are playing at home and are the reigning La Liga and Champions League champions. Barcelona will field some academy players, some with experience, Raphinha… But as I said, there is no favorite.”

After resisting for some time, the Brazilian ultimately shared his score prediction for this game: “I think Barça will win 1-2.”

There is no doubt that this upcoming match against Real Madrid will be a very entertaining one. Barcelona are definitely in better form, but El Clasico is a match in which both the teams give their everything irrespective of their previous form. But Cules will certainly be hoping that Rivaldo’s prediction comes true and Barcelona come out as the winner.
