Indiana basketball leaves Bloomington for the first time and will play three games in the Battle 4 Atlantis on Thanksgiving week.

Their first opponent is Louisville (3-1). Reyne Smith leads five Cardinals in double figures (14.8 points, 42.1% 3-pointers). Kasean Pryor is their biggest inside presence (12.8 points, 6.5 rebounds). Louisville forces 18.8 turnovers per game, 5th-most in the nation. The Cardinals shoot 34 3-pointers per game (4th most), but make 29.4% (276th).
IU will play either West Virginia or Gonzaga on Thanksgiving. Other participating teams are Oklahoma, Providence, Davidson and Arizona.

Indiana basketball prediction
Zach Osterman, IndyStar: Indiana 80-73
The Cardinals will give IU trouble with their reliance on the 3-point shot, but in a strange shooting setting, it might not be the most accurate day from distance. Indiana has pronounced advantages in size and depth, and those will tell eventually.
The win will start a big week for Myles Rice and Trey Galloway, whose command of this team’s offense must begin to sharpen up with Big Ten play approaching. One of the Hoosiers’ greatest strengths is their depth of creative ball handlers. Rice and Galloway have shown in moments their capacity this season. It must shine through consistently at Atlantis.
