IndiGo Boosts Connectivity With New Direct Flights From Bengaluru To Mauritius – Travel And Tour World

IndiGo has introduced direct flights connecting Bengaluru to Mauritius, expanding its network to 35 international destinations and marking its second route in Africa. The airline will operate this service four times a week, targeting the rising demand for tourism and fostering stronger connections between India and Mauritius.

IndiGo has commenced direct flights to Mauritius, marking its 35th international destination with four weekly departures from Bengaluru. The inaugural flight, completed on November 19, had a duration of approximately five and a half hours.

With Port Louis now part of its network, Mauritius becomes IndiGo’s second African destination following the launch of Mumbai to Nairobi flights in August. According to the airline, this new route aims to meet the increasing demand for tourism while also promoting trade, investment, and business partnerships across the Indian Ocean region.

IndiGo flight 6E1861 is set to take off from Bengaluru at 3:20 AM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, arriving at its destination at 7:45 AM, local time. The return journey departs at 9:30 AM, reaching Bengaluru at 4:45 PM, according to local schedules.
