Then, Stefan de Vrij and Matteo Darmian have also been dealing with fitness concerns. The former did grit his teeth and play for the closing stages of Monday’s match against Como.

One thing that’s clear is that Yann Bisseck will start tomorrow away to Cagliari. The German has proven to be a real stalwart at the back amid all the defensive injuries.
Meanwhile, Alessandro Bastoni played in the centre of the back three against Como. The versatile Carlos Augusto started on the left.
Inter coach Inzaghi could reprise that back three against Cagliari tomorrow.
But on the other hand, the coach could decide to rest Bastoni.
The Italian international has not had much opportunity to catch his breath in recent weeks. He also started against Udinese in the Coppa Italia.
