Inter Milan, Man United & Arsenal All Keen On Ex Real Madrid Starlet

Inter, Man United, and Arsenal are all eyeing up a move for Como and former Real Madrid midfielder Nico Paz.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Paz joined Como during the past summer transfer window.

The young midfielder joined the Lariani on a permanent basis for a fee of €6 million. However, Como agreed that Real Madrid would receive 50% of any future transfer fee for Paz.

Moreover, Real also have a buyback option worth €12 million on Paz.

And Paz has proven to be an excellent piece of business so far for Como.

The 20-year-old has been a key part of the newly-promoted side’s starting eleven under Cesc Fabregas.

Paz has made a total of thirteen appearances for Como in Serie A so far this season.

And the Argentine has hit the ground running.

Inter, Man United & Arsenal All Keen On Nico Paz

Paz has scored two goals and made three assists from midfield for Como. He scored in stoppage time in a recent win over Roma.

However, it is not just the 20-year-old’s goals and assists that have caught the eye.

Paz has been crucial to Como’s attacking play and possession.

The former Real midfielder’s passing range and vision have been at the heart of several fine performances from Fabregas’s men.

And there is no doubt that Paz is up to the level of Serie A physically and tactically.

Therefore, it is no surprise that big teams in the Italian top flight have taken an interest in the Argentine, whose performances have also earned him senior call-ups for the Albiceleste.

Inter are foremost among Paz’s suitors, reports Tuttosport.

Nerazzurri Vice-President Javier Zanetti was recently at a match between Como and Roma to scout the young Argentine.

Inter see Paz as a potential major future signing for their midfield.

However, Arsenal and Manchester United are also closely monitoring the 20-year-old. They want to bring him to the Premier League.

And then there is the factor of Real Madrid’s buyback clause on Paz.

However, since the Argentine is unlikely to feature in Los Blancos’ immediate future plans, he could push for a move to another club.
