Inter Milan trio Nicolo Barella, Tajon Buchanan, and Tomas Palacios are all currently carrying out specialized training regimens.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They detail the plans for the three Nerazzurri players.
At the moment, Inter’s squad are in training.
Quite a few players from the squad are currently away with their national teams for the break. However, many have also stayed behind.
Most of the players currently in training are working as a group, as normal.
However, reports FCIN, there are three Inter players who are working individually on personalized regimens.
Inter Trio Barella, Buchanan & Palacios All Carrying Out Personalized Training
In the case of midfielder Barella, the 27-year-old is working on regaining match-sharpness after a nose operation.
Barella underwent the procedure at the start of the international break.
It was not a very serious surgery for the midfielder. However, while healing he was not able to train normally, due to the risk of contact that would cause problems for the healing.
But FCIN report that Barella is now back in training.
The Italian international is working to quickly return to training with his teammates ahead of the return to Serie A action against Monza after the international break.
Meanwhile, wingback Buchanan is back in training after having suffered a leg break during the summer.
Buchanan’s injury was a very serious one. But the Canadian has now healed, and is working to regain his fitness.
Naturally, it will still be some time before Buchanan can make a return to full training and then to the pitch.
But now, Buchanan is working at Inter’s training centre. The 25-year-old former Club Brugge wingback is building up strength with a specialized training program.
Lastly, new Inter signing Palacios is also training individually.
The Argentine defender only signed for Inter at the end of August. And moreover, he had not played for a few weeks due to the transfer saga.
Palacios had been in his native Argentina until a couple days ago. He was sorting out a few bureaucratic details on his move.
However, now Palacios is getting ready to start life as a Nerazzurri player.
The 21-year-old is working on a specialized regimen so that he can soon start training with the rest of the group and Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.
