The top-ranked player in the Class of 2025 will be in Chapel Hill this weekend.

Needless to say, it’s a huge weekend for Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program as they welcome five-star AJ Dybantsa to town for his official visit. According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Dybantsa’s visit is scheduled to begin on Friday night.
The UNC basketball program has hosted a handful of 2025 recruits over the last few weeks, but this one certainly feels a bit different. In an effort to lure some of the top 2025 talents to Chapel Hill, landing a player of Dybantsa’s caliber would be a major addition for Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels.
At the moment, BYU seems to be the “favorite” in his recruitment, but a great visit to North Carolina could certainly make things change. Chapel Hill should be very lively with the UNC football program set to host JMU on Saturday afternoon, so the hope is that Dybantsa gets to witness the full atmosphere of what North Carolina has to offer.
