BLOOMINGTON – Trent Sisley, one of Indiana’s longest-standing targets in the 2025 class, committed to the Hoosiers on Monday, bringing the former Heritage Hills star back home.

A four-star top-100 player per both Rivals and 247Sports, Sisley spent the first three years of his prep career playing for Heritage Hills, before transferring to prominent prep school Montverde Academy this summer. Sisley will become the latest Montverde product to join the Hoosiers, following the likes of Jalen Hood-Schifino and Malik Reneau. Another Montverde player, Liam McNeeley, committed to IU in last year’s class before decommitting and opting for UConn instead.

‘It’s a big tradeoff.’ Why Trent Sisley transferred to Montverde

Even though Sisley will finish at a Florida prep school, in effect, he is Mike Woodson’s first in-state recruit from a graduating high school class since he returned to coach his alma mater.

Sisley brings stretch forward skills to college, and projects as the kind of flexible two-way big coach Mike Woodson has enjoyed success developing in Bloomington..

We’ll have much more coverage of Sisley’s on indystar.com including an emergency Mind Your Banners podcast.

Insider: Mike Woodson has gone where the talent is, and in 2025 class, that’s in his own backyard.
