Roma manager Ivan Juric spoke to Sky Sport on the eve of the match with Union Saint-Gilloise.
“At the moment we need victories. We are very focused on tomorrow’s match,” said the Croatian coach whose job remains on the line.
“In Verona we made mistakes, the referee made mistakes and we allowed a counterattack and we were punished,” he added.
“Of course I am worried we’re close to the relegation zone. We can talk about performances but at the moment we need results.”
“What we want to do sometimes goes like this, but we need to persist with our ideas, with the gameplan and improve even more in concentration.”
“Hummels? I don’t know yet if he will play tomorrow.”
“Friedkins? We’re in contact. It is clear that they see certain positive things and are not happy with the results.”
“Now we focus on tomorrow’s match which is fundamental for us for the standings and for morale, then we’ll see what the future holds.”
“I’ve always felt their support but it’s clear that we need results.”
