With Tyron Smith on injured reserve and Max Mitchell inactive, the Jets came into Sunday’s matchup with the Seattle Seahawks thin at the tackle position.
So it certainly didn’t help matters that veteran right tackle Morgan Moses was not on the field for the Jets’ second drive of the afternoon.
Gang Green would score a touchdown to take an early 14-0 lead, and soon after the team announced that Moses was questionable to return with a shoulder injury.
Initially, the veteran was back on the field the next time the Jets’ offense took the field early in the second quarter, but after one drive back with the offense, Moses was then ruled doubtful to return.
Second-year pro Carter Warren stepped into the lineup for Moses at right tackle, opposite of rookie Olu Fashanu on the left side.
