Jordan Store in Los Angeles Looted Following Dodgers World Series Win

Several arrests were made in Los Angeles on Wednesday night in connection to the looting of stores following the Dodgers’ victory over the New York Yankees in the 2024 MLB World Series. News of the incident was first reported by ABC News last night.

According to the LAPD on X, a “hostile” crowd had formed near the intersection of 8th and Broadway last night and began looting the stores in the area. In the video shared by @abc7chriscristi, a group of masked individuals appears to be stealing sneakers from the Jordan Flagship Store located at 622 S Broadway.

“We have reports of looting at several stores in the area of 8th and Broadway. Please stay out of the area. If you are on the street, at or adjacent to that intersection, leave the area immediately and follow all officers orders,” the LAPD wrote on X at 2 a.m. last night.

The chaos continued into the streets of LA, with several vehicles engulfed in flames, as seen in the image below.

In a tweet from the LAPD Central Division, the authorities confirmed that arrests have been made in connection to the looting, but specific details weren’t disclosed.
