Jason Fitz with Yahoo Sports, hanging out with Julian Edelman joining us on behalf of Jamison.

We’ll get to that in a minute because I have Jamison questions for you.

But let’s start with a little bit of football.

We’re talking right after week one.

Everybody overreacts.

That’s what everybody’s doing today as a former player.

How long into the season do you need to get before you see something that really makes you panic?

Uh, you know, I, I played in a, a unique situation where, you know, I went to the AFC championship like eight years in a row and we won the division every year.

I was on the there.

And so like when we lost one game, it was full panic mode.

So, but for a team, it’s not necessarily a win or a loss that makes you turn on panic mode.

For me, it would be more of how the team was playing and how the team was practicing going into the game.

Like if the team was practicing well throughout the whole week and then you get to a game and cer certain things happen, but you certain points of emphasis that you guys had that week.

You guys did and you didn’t win the game.

You know, that’s not panic mode.

That’s like, all right, let’s build off that.

Let’s le let’s learn off of the things that, you know, we didn’t do.

Well, let’s build off the things that we did do well.

And if we keep doing those, that’s how you turn it into a win.

So I would say when you consistently are doing the wrong things uh in the game or, or turning the ball over sloppy football, you know, guys aren’t invested, guys don’t look like they’re, they’re buying and that’s panic mode.

But right now it’s a little early.

How important was it for Erard Mayo to get a win knowing that he’s replacing a legend and really all eyes are on him.

I don’t, I don’t, I don’t, I don’t necessarily think like that was a make or break game for Gerard Mayo.

Um You know, it’s week one, a lot of things happen in week one.

You can’t always predict week one, but I tell you right now it’s great for him to get a, a win under his belt and, and something that he can go to his team and say, hey, this is all the stuff we’ve been preaching.

Uh uh everything we’ve been preaching in, you know, OTAs mini camps, training camp, all that.

Look at you guys bought in and we beat the Cincinnati Bengals.

So let’s just do that again.

And let’s try to beat the Seattle Seahawks.

So it’s a great coaching um platform for, for Gerard and in the coaching staff.

So, you know, you gotta tip your cap to those guys.

That’s awesome.

You’re joining us on behalf of Jamison.

Tell everybody what you guys have been up to.

Yeah, you know, I, I partnered up with Jamison and, you know, we went over to the league office over in New York, brought a bunch of people to rally uh to, to show the importance of us trying to get a game to Ireland to Dublin.

Um You know, and what a, what, what, what not a better company than Jamison to partner up to get a team to go to Ireland.

Like, you know, we all know Jamison, we’ve all drink in Jamison.

We all had a lot of fun on Jamison.

Um and you, you know where Jamison comes from and, and, you know, watching that college game that went out there and seeing the fun that their fans had, seeing the fun that the players had, I think it’s just a match made in heaven to get a game over there in Dublin um for our league.

And uh you know, I think it would just be so fun.

I mean, I played in Boston, there’s so many Irish people that, that are in the Boston area.

Uh and they’re such passionate people that uh have a community towards their team.

I’m sure that you get that same vibe over and Dublin and you know, if we get this done, I’m gonna go out there and watch that game.

I mean, I’ll tell you, man, in my country music touring days we played a lot of shows in Dublin.

They were always crazy.

Jamison’s amazing over there.

All I’m asking is like if this happens, like I need to be your plus one.

Like we need to go over there, we’ll hang out.

I’ll bring a fiddle.

You, you, you handle the parties.

Well, we have a good time with Jamison.

What instrument do you play?

That’s violin.

I was a fiddle player.

So like it works out perfect.

Bring the violin, I’ll bring the Jamison.

We’ll call it a deal.
